As you can see, the kitchen before was very dark, small, and closed off. We opened the space up and added the cased opening for separation of space that still allows for fluidity between rooms. To optimize storage space, we added a wall of lower cabinets under the windows.  The white walls and cabinetry give life to this once very dark space.
