A general contractor is someone that manages the entire project from start to finish. At Bartow Builders, we coordinate the schedule, our Trade Partners, and our employees to maximize efficiency and reduce the level of stress put on the homeowner. Don’t worry about calling the electrician, the plumber, etc., leave that to us to handle! With one phone call to Bartow Builders, you’re entire project will be managed professionally leaving you to enjoy watching your vision for your home come to life.

Trade Partners are the team of subcontractors that we work with on a daily basis such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC specialists. We call them Trade Partners because they truly are our partners in each project. They are professionals in their specific trade and are the best at what they do. Since we work with them on a daily basis, we understand how to best work together, communicate well, and together are able to provide you with top of the line service and craftsmanship.

Bartow Builders is unique in that we directly employ our own carpenters. This allows us to be in control of our schedule and our quality so you can trust us to get your project completed on time and to the level of excellence we pride ourselves on.

Yes, we can do this for you. We do charge for these types of estimates because of the extra time it takes to provide information and detail the insurance company typically requires. If you do have the work done by us, we will apply this payment to your project.

Yes, we can do this for you. Since this is a home you do not yet own, we do ask to be compensated for our time on this type of estimate. Should you purchase the home and use Bartow Builders to do this work for you, we will apply this payment to your project.


Every home we build is custom designed for each customer. This process can vary depending on how much time the customer has to devote to their project for decisions to be made.  Typically, if there are only a few revisions that need to be made during the design process, the plan can be finalized within 3-6 months.

Great, you are one step closer. We will look the design over to ensure it has all of the construction details that we will need to accurately estimate the project and build the home.  If there are additional details needed in order to proceed, we may possibly need a design agreement for us to complete the design.

There are so many factors that go into each home we build. Your home will be designed and custom built for you! Because of the level of customization with each decision that needs to be made, it is hard to give an exact cost to a new home. However, typically we see homes range from $230/sq. ft. to as much as $330/sq. ft. We pride ourselves on honest and transparent customer service, so we will do our best to work within your budget and offer ideas & advice on how to make it happen.


Since each project is different, every timeline is different. This can be discussed during you initial consultation appointment to receive an estimated timeframe. You will receive start and end dates on your contract before we start your project so you are aware of what that timeline will be.

Yes, you will not be able to occupy the space that is being remodeled during the project. We require this to maintain the integrity of the project and for your own safety. With many years of experience, we can advise you on how to make this process as stress-free as possible and we will do our part to lessen the inconvenience as we are able.

We provide a (1) year workmanship warranty on all of our projects, no matter how big or small. We hold our Trade Partners to this same warranty.
